Progressive lenses in Blida
One lens, three distances — far, intermediate and near, with no visible line. Measured and centered to the millimetre by a London-trained optician.
One lens, three distances
Progressive lenses correct presbyopia: distance vision at the top, intermediate in the middle (ideal for screens) and near vision at the bottom, with a smooth transition and none of the line of old bifocals.
Precise centering is the key to comfort
We measure pupillary distance, fitting height and pantoscopic angle, then center each lens to the millimetre. Approximate centering is the most common cause of headaches and the feeling of swaying.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to adapt to progressive lenses?
Usually a few days to two weeks. With accurate measurements and centering, adaptation is quick. If anything feels off, we re-check the measurements free of charge.
Why did my old progressives give me headaches?
Most often because of approximate centering or a poorly measured height, not your eyesight. Precise measurements fix this.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, an up-to-date ophthalmologist's prescription. From it, we take all the measurements and centering.
